Can I apply for a Vietnam e-Visa if I'm already in Vietnam?
Yes. You can re-apply for a Vietnam e-visa while you are in Vietnam. However, in order for the Vietnam e-Visa to be valid, you must leave and enter the country again.
A Vietnam e-Visa accepts to stay in the country for only 30 days. If visitors would like to keep staying in Vietnam but their Visa has expired or the staying time is over, they can request for visa extension or apply for a new e-Visa. The entire re-applying process of the e-Visa is not different, it is completed online and takes three business days.
Applicants are advised to visit the Vietnam Immigration Services website and access the application form at the button “Apply visa” on the navigation bar. Applicants should follow the following simple steps to re-apply for the visa application:
- Step 1: Fill in the application form with the necessary information. Double-check that all the information on the form matches your passport to avoid any errors.
- Step 2: Pay the visa fees and submit some supporting documents via email.
- Step 3: Once your application is processed and approved, a Vietnam e-Visa will be sent to you through your email address.
